SBIFF Festival Screening for Mother of Chernobyl

Mother of Chernobyl is an Official Selection at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The screening will be on Sunday, January 19th at 7:30pm at the Arlington Theatre. Read below for more details.

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival is an annual film festival 11-day festival held in Santa Barbara, California since 1986. This is the festival's 35th year. It screens several hundred films from all over the world, shorts and features both, as well as featuring celebrity tributes, industry panels, and educational programs.

Mother of Chernobyl was shot almost entirely locally in the Santa Barbara area, and was produced at UC Santa Barbara. Therefore, SBIFF is a very important festival for the cast and crew, who are more than excited to share the film with their local community.

The film is screening as part of the "Santa Barbara Live-Action Shorts" program, which includes five other locally produced films. Mother of Chernobyl is screening fourth out of the six.

The screening will take place this Sunday, January 19th at 7:30pm in the Arlington Theatre on State St in downtown Santa Barbara. Tickets will be available to the public for $10 at the door.
